Dear Mahesh You need to work on your English in totality--both spoken and written. As far as spoken is concerned, I've no way of judging in present circumstances, but the written sample is there i.e., your query. in your question itself there are two errors which need to be addressed. You write "I am a post graduate holder but I can't speak in English I want speak in English with fluently". Now you are either a post graduate in English or you hold a post graduate degrre. You should not write "I am a post graduate holder". Then you write" I want speak in English with fluently" It should be " I want to speak in English fluently" or "I want to speak in English with fluency".

That will tellyou where you fumble. then you can identify the problem because you will fumble only on those words of which you either don't know the pronunciation or the meaning. Try it for some days. Your fluency will come by and by.

Dear Divya Before you can speak English in a competition you need to practice on your own. The best course would be to speak with your teachers, peers and friends. If that option does not give you the sufficient pratice, you can do it on your own too. For this i suggest all the students to read a news item or an article in a newspaper aloud. you are sure to stumble on some words. these words will be those, the meanins or pronunciation of which you are not sure of. In other words these are the words or phrases with which you have either no familiarity or little one. once these words have been identified you can look up their meaning and pronunciation. this way you will increase your vocabulary, which will stand you in good stead in a competition. Another advantage of reading out aloud is that you get to listen to your own voice and you know then how do you sound while speaking in English. You can then seek further guidance from your teachers in this regard. You can also try standing in front of a mirror while doing this exercise. then you also know how your mouth and face look while you speak. If you feel that any improvement is needed in your stance you can then effect it.

Science has only one syllable. In phonemic symbols it is expressed as /sa??ns/. The seemingly two sounds /a?/ and /?/ are taken together and treated as what we can call a triphthong where three sounds are considered one. The same is the case with flower : /fla?e(r)/.

In both the words the letter U stands for the sound /w/ as is clear from the transcription of the words : /sweid/ and /pe?gwin/. So as Mitali rightly pointed out the letter U gives out the the sound of semi vowel /w/.
