* Establish and monitor laboratory operations
* Train laboratory staff on various aspects of the
laboratory e.g. Safety, Testing, Quality control,
Laboratory quality documentation etc.
*Training to nursing staff & hospital staff on various
aspects of infection control in hospital and aseptic
measures in routine healthcare practices, IV medication
safety, Fire safety, Spill management, Nosocomial
infections & Biomedical waste management etc.
* Maintain laboratory inventory effectively for smooth
functioning of the laboratory.
* Prepare laboratory for accreditations like NABL
(ISO15189), NABH Medlab program, ISO 9001:2008
certification and NABH accreditation.
* Handling of hospital infection control activities in the
hospital.
* Preparation for ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety
Management System) Canteen / Cafeteria
