Mridupawan Sonowal

I am a graduate from Assam Engineering College, did my Masters from IIT Guwahati,

I worked as an Asst. Professor in the Dept of ECE in NIT Meghalaya from 2013 to 2019. I have taught a variety of subjects in the Electronics and Communication branch and have guided a number of undergraduate projects in the different domains of the same covering both the electronics and communication stream. While teaching I had always sought to engage students by examining ways they can actively participate in class discussions, often using collaborative platforms. And I look forward to individual meetings with students, ascertaining their research direction and assisting in the composition of their theories and experiments. I was also involved in organizing seminars and workshops while engaged in NIT Meghalaya.

Prior to my academic career I worked as a Deputy Manager in Reliance Communication for a year after my Master’s thesis. The responsibilities involved testing all the equipments offered by the vendors for the RCom network in the RF domain. It also involved generating the specifications required by RCom before a tender was released. Prior to that, after by bachelors, I worked in Wipro Biomed, as a service Engg. The duties included troubleshooting equipments used in biomedical research, at customer sites and the sales of the corresponding parts.
