It is not as such a difficult language if you really have interest in it. Though remembering Kanjis will take a lot of practice. But then it is the most interesting part of this language.

Is Japanese a globally accepted language?

Yes it is. As a matter of fact, Japanese is becoming one of the most popular languages day by day. This is because Japan has a great influence in the IT and the Manufacturing sector. And Japan is extending its reach to several Asian and western countries.
