I am a creative, curious, determined, and empathetic individual.
I study Psychology, Painting, Sociology, and Political Science in school. These subjects have made me realise the relevance of studies in daily life. The arts provide creative outlets for expression, Sociology provides a societal context to behaviours, and Political Science makes me aware of methods used for administration and governance.
I have channelled my attributes like acceptance, objectivity, and empathy into volunteer work. Teaching at a non-government organisation for underprivileged girls (Sarvam Shakti) nurtured a sense of inclusiveness and patience in me. Being compassionate inspired me to engage audiences through platforms like ProjectQ (an initiative to amplify minority voices) and broadened my perceptions of human nature. Organising events like ‘Vyaktitva’ (a Psychology fest) taught me to welcome diversity of thought and behaviour. Conducting research projects on ‘How does colour affect our moods?’, ‘Challenges faced by contemporary families in modern day’, and ‘Films depicting the differently abled community’ built my survey and critical analysis skills while strengthening the importance of ethics in me.
