English can be improved by focusing on all the aspects of it. A lot of people face this problem that they do not have an English-speaking environment. For this, focus on four essential skills, listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Do a little bit of something every day. You can start by taking a topic and speaking in front of the mirror. Also, you can record yourself and listen for mistakes. Try and think short sentences in English only. Try and bridge the gap in translation. It will help you immensely. Hope it helps!
