You can gather the right amount of information in this much time which will allow you to keep practising by yourself and apply that information on the instrument and enhance your skills. Your teacher should know how to make you independent.

Western or Indian vocals? If Indian, I don't think any good guru will give an online lesson, so that option is out of the picture. So one on one classes for Indian. If you want to go for Western also, one on one session is a better option as there a lof things that a teacher needs to feel in a student's... ...more

Yes, that's true, operatic singing is like a sport and singer uses the entire body to sing, so a teacher needs to see if the student is correctly using his/her institution. Group classes can also work, but I prefer individual.
