Why AutoCAD isn`t appropriate for 3D modeling?

Autocad is ultimate tool for 2d drawings. however, for the 3d modeling its an eyewash. Practically 3d modeling should be parametric so that we can modify the part at the design stage, in which AutoCAD 3d lacks.
