IdentityHello! My name is Rashmi, which means "sun ray" in Hindi. I hold degrees in fields such as technology and management, and I have also worked as an air hostess. Hindi is my native language, which I have been speaking for over two decades now. Having lived in the South of India, where regional languages are more predominant, I helped friends and students learn Hindi. In my spare time, I love singing, dancing, and travelling.
Throughout my journey, I have taken pride in unofficially teaching friends and students. I am always found correcting them in the most unusual places and in the most unimaginable ways! :D
I believe that language should be spoken with clarity, pronunciation should be correct, and one should be able to make sense of what they are trying to convey.
My way of paying respect to any language is to learn from the very basics. I also try to make it fun for myself. I listen to and talk with native speakers to understand the language better. That’s how I taught myself Punjabi, Urdu, and Tamil (I’m still a work in progress, as we all are)!
I genuinely believe that achieving perfection is not necessary when one is a beginner. What matters most is that you enjoy the learning process. I strive to make things easy so they seem effortless.
