Details of the course:

1) What will be covered in this course?

A: All the 14 chapters included in the NCERT book of Mathematics for class VI will be covered in this course. Chapters will start with important definitions and formulas followed by examples. After that, exercises will be done in class based on the understanding gained. The course will cover the following chapters: Knowing our numbers, whole numbers, playing with numbers, basic geometrical ideas, understanding elementary shapes, integers, fractions, decimals, data handling, mensuration, algebra, ratio and proportion, symmetry, practical geometry.

2) For whom this course is meant for?

A: This course is useful for all those students who are in class VI now and NCERT books are used for teaching in their schools.

3) What study material(s) should the student have?

A: Notes will be dictated in the class. Only a register and NCERT book of Mathematics is required for this course.
