IdentityI am a journalist and an award-winning author. I have worked in Times of India, Hindustan Times, Pioneer and Asian Age. I was journalist for nearly 24 years and now I am a full-time author. My first book Gita Press and the Making of Hindu India won all the literary prizes in 2015-16. The book was a bestseller and a recommended read in many universities in India and abroad. My second book--biography of Hindi writer Agyeya--will be published later this year.
Being a parent I was closely involved with my daughter's school education and taught her social science. I am confident I will do a good job. I am even willing to undertake one class on trial basis.
