Who is this course for?
For all who want to learn the Basics of Digital Electronics.
What will the students learn in this course?
Digital electronics or digital (electronic) circuits are electronics that operate on digital signals. In contrast, analogue circuits manipulate analogue signals whose performance is more subject to manufacturing tolerance, signal attenuation and noise. Digital techniques are helpful because it is a lot easier to get an electronic device to switch into one of a number of known states than to accurately reproduce a continuous range of values.
This course is composed of three chapters:
1.Basics of digital electronics :
Deals with the numbering systems, Boolean Algebra, logic gates(AND Gate OR gate NOT gate), Universal Gates(NAND and NOR gates).
2. Logic families & Semiconductor Memories :
Deals with logic families and semiconductor memories like Ram, Rom and types of Ram, Rom.
3.Logic circuits:
Deals with combinational and sequential logic circuits which consists of multiplexers demultiplexers encoders Decoders flip-flops(Rs flip-flop,JK flip-flop,D flip-flop,T flip-flop), registers &counters.
Is there anything the students need to bring to the class?
Interest in DE,presence of mind.
No need of bundle of books.
I will provide Ebook of this course along with some examples.
Simple and Small because simple is better.
