Electric guitars are heavier in weight than acoustic guitars.

As electric guitar have lighter strings with smaller body and thinner necks whereas acoustic have bigger body, thicker neck and heavier strings.Acoustic itself produce natural tone whereas electric guitar need both input and output gadgets like effects, amps, cable etc. For electric guitar pickup,to send the signals to amps that produced different sound tone and melody.

The main difference between playing an acoustic and electric guitar is how they feel. Acoustic guitars are bigger and bulkier and the strings can feel tight. Electric guitars are typically smaller and easier to hold and the strings feel softer under your fingers.
