Vijay Raja

I am a qualified Music Tutor with seven years of comprehensive experience as both a secondary school educator and a peripatetic music teacher. My fervour for teaching music extends to pupils of diverse age groups, spanning from five to fifty years old. My qualifications include a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary Music, a Master's Degree in Creative Music Practice, Grade 5 in Music Theory, and Grade 3 in Acoustic Guitar. In my recent role, I served as a music teacher in a secondary school for over a year, providing instruction through both online and in-person lessons, including group sessions. The range of instruments I teach encompasses Keyboard, Acoustic, and Bass Guitar. I tailor my lessons based on the individual needs of each pupil, catering to both beginners and those at an advanced level. I take pride in successfully preparing students for grade exams in Piano and Guitar under the Trinity College London (TCL) and ABRSM syllabi, with all achieving merit and distinction. Additionally, I have conducted Summer Crash Courses and expedited beginner instrumental lessons for Piano and Guitar. As a self-taught Music Producer, I have composed music for over 50 tracks and offer introductory-level music production lessons to interested students.
I firmly believe that music is an inherent emotion within everyone, and my mission is to facilitate its expression!
