I'd suggest a good 1-2 hour of practice each day with the right coach should suffice if you'd like to improve on your singing. Alternatively, look for teachers who teach both the guitar and voice; they understand how to merge the two better in performances and could guide you better and understand your problems.

Let's be honest, you said you have no idea about singing and is 23years young. That's a tough spot to be in if you wanna start singing, don't get me wrong, it's very much possible but you'll have to be prepared to get all the way back to basics and understand your voice better before learning to sing right away. A good instructor will guide you through this with patience. To cut short, it's gonna be some hard work and concentration. I wish you all the best! i do hope it becomes more than a hobby. :)
