I have been working as a chess coach for the past eight years, dedicating myself to teaching and mentoring aspiring chess players. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, I have a strong foundation in the field that complements my passion for chess. Recently, I participated in a FIDE-rated tournament and emerged as the winner. It was a proud moment for me as I had been working hard to achieve this for a long time. Winning a FIDE-rated tournament is a significant achievement in chess, and it has boosted my confidence to take on more challenges in the future. Apart from my professional life, I am an avid chess player. I have been playing chess since my childhood and have always been fascinated by the game. Over the years, I have honed my skills and participated in various tournaments. I have been coaching chess for the past few years and have helped many students improve their game. I offer both online and offline coaching, and my coaching sessions are tailored to the individual needs of each student. One of my proudest moments as a coach was when one of my students won the best unrated first prize in a local chess tournament. It was a moment of great satisfaction for me to see my student's hard work pay off. Teaching chess is not just about improving a student's game; it is also about teaching valuable life skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship. Hi Everyone! My name is Pawan Singh and I am an International Fide Rated Chess Player. Currently Fide Rating- 1700, on Lichess- 2400+ and Chess.com- 2200+. I provide chess lessons for adults and kids from 5 years old. MY MAIN GOAL is to make the lesson not only USEFUL, but also INTERESTING & FUN! Because I know how kids can lose interest quickly! Therefore, in addition to chess theory, we do a lot of fun exercises and play interesting and unusual chess games!! I am enthusiastic, positive and motivating :) I love teaching chess to children who are passionate about the game & want to improve. I have trained students from different countries such as India, USA,UK, Australia, SG,UAE. My interpersonal skills allow me to connect with students on a personal level, creating a positive and enriching educational experience. For Tournament preparation: For intermediate-level students aiming to participate in tournaments, I provide specialized coaching to enhance their performance. We focus on developing opening repertoires, studying master games, and analyzing strategic and tactical patterns commonly seen in competitive play. During the lessons, we use Zoom, Webex, Skype and very convenient website lichess.org and Chess.com. This website allows the student to move chess pieces independently during the session, saving all the lesson material for completing homework. Let's study together :)
