I make paintings/pieces using a variety of media – acrylics, oil pastels, charcoal, and graphite on paper, canvas, wood. I make AND teach a variety of paintings – abstract art, still life drawing, trees, flowers etc. Let me know when we can connect. You can contact me via message on the Urban Pro portal. I also teach mural paintings. I get my students to make their own paste and then make the paintings on wooden boards. I start with the very basics, how to hold a brush, how to mix colors, color palette, line, form, shape, texture, value. Then I move on to composition. Art is therapeutic. Painting is a relaxing activity and an effective stress buster. It helps to therapeutically reset our emotions process any psychological issues and release tension. I keep my classes fun, relaxed and friendly at the same time making sure my students learn the skill and art of painting. I customize the classes to the skill level and interest of the learner. Coming from the back ground of 20 years as a counsellor I am very sensitive to the emotions of the learners. I guide gently but firmly. The learner will start making complete paintings soon after they start classes.
