My interest in teaching has stimulated me to apply for the job of ‘Maths Teacher for Grade 9 and 10’, on your site.

Mathematics, as a subject has always fascinated me during school/ college days and the same is also reflected in the scores, I have achieved. This is also evident from the fact that, while during my college days, I was a visiting faculty for Class 8-10, in a Teaching Centre (Universal, Vikaspuri) near my home (before marriage). And I was offered a rewarding salary to become a permanent employee but since I had my eyes set on a different career, I had to let it go. But I had always felt a void while being away from Maths, all this while. Hence 2 years back, started teaching small groups from 7th-10th grade, Mathematics and have achieved success in students results.

I would also mention here that the nature of my management jobs in the past has also prepared me for this job. Having managed large teams and brands in Indian/multinational organizations, I have been eager to identify new skill sets for self and teams, resulting in effective brand reach. The same is required in current teaching skills, while there is a pattern to teach Maths as a subject, yet we can make it exciting for students to enjoy studying Maths and apply it to their day to day life experiences. Working with multinational giants has also given me additional experience of conducting online seminars and am well versed with presentation skills.

As they say, one should reserve your best for your last, I would be happy to devote a key part of my career in helping students reach their potential. I am able to take on responsibility for learning and also have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of this role.
