I am planning to get an admission for 1st Grade for my kid at Ekya. I will be visiting the school in the next 2 days. I have read in some comments that the school do not have a playground, but their website mentions a playground with basketball, volleyball courts.... wanted to know if they have arranged for a playground now or do they have these facitilies within the school...maybe on terrace or somewhere else. Will be grateful if someone would tell me. thx in advance. Also would like to know if the the admission process is very stringent?

Well... My son starts school only in June. So I am not the best person to comment on acads right now. I am hoping it'll be good. I have heard they are quite meticulous and take personal care. Playground non availability was the biggest drawback that I have heard till now. Smaller classes that doesn't matter much I think.

Hi Sridevi, After submitting the form, you'ii be called for an interview. Both parents and children are asked questions. They casually walk in the corridor and ask children questions by showing the notice board. I also went to admit my son in Montessori, my experince was exactly similar to Sheena B. The receptionist is very helpful. The whole interview process was perfectly on schedule. My son will start attending school from the month of June

I went for my son's admission to Montessori. The receptionist was extremely nice and helped us in every possible way. Our interview with the Director went well. The Vice-Principal was also very nice. Fee is Rs 1.2 L per year for 1st standard all totalled. Bus extra. There are only 6-8 students in each class as of now. The school is only till 8th std, soon to go to 9th and higher classes. No playground to speak of.
