I teach a student of class 9 CBSE board 4 subjects like History, Geography, Civics and Economics, 2 days a week for 1.5 to 2 hours. How much should I charge?

You should charge according to conditions. if you are fresher then charge comparatively less. If you are a home tutor, then you can charge a little more than others. Overall it depends on the conditions in which you are teaching.

Why wavelength is selected to decide about colour which is  always a variable during the propagation of light, whereas frequency for each colour is fixed and not generally considered to mention the colour?

This is so because there are seven colours in the light. If we decide colours by their frequencies, we would not be able to get all the colours. As you see the VIBGYOR pattern, You will find indigo comes after violet. Indigo is decreasing the wavelength of violet. Similarly, for other colours, If we... ...more
