It saves time as while researching something online, it is an easy software to store rather than writing everything on paper. This is a very useful tool for making personal notes too. It can be used as a creative means by using different kind of texts, fonts, sizes, pictures etc.

I was fond of art from a very young age. At the age of 10, I joined art classes to brush up my skills. I started using various mediums of paper and colour. I learnt to do drawing, still life drawing, colouring, painting-glass, nib, emboss, pot, ceramic. I started making rangolis at my house and practised kirigami. I started making candles. I started colour ironing for making various shapes. I started all this to be more innovative, decorative and creative. This long journey bought me where I am today as a fashion designer. I learnt the art of pattern making, stitching, embroidery, dyeing, printing, laser cutting, smocking, fabric manipulation and other techniques that make the garment more attractive which eventually make the human in it beautiful. Being creative also took me to the UK to be selected for an MA getting a scholarship, selected for an exhibition in London and an internship in the UK. I also had a chance of working with one of the biggest fashion brands in India, Shantanu and Nikhil and Woodland.

I began using MS PowerPoint 16 years back . During each stage of my life i.e. school, graduation, masters, work, I had to prepare number of presentations each time demanding a different result. During graduation and masters I was guided to make professional presentations that would help me in my working career ahead. I was supposed to give around 3 presentations in a day. This really helped me as I explored the software and could make and deliver presentations during my working career. It added as a plus point. MS PowerPoint can be used as a creative means by using different kind of texts, fonts, sizes, pictures, backgrounds etc.

I began to learn CAD when I started my graduation which was seven years back. I learnt it for three years after which I practised it myself. I could make garments with adding details on Adobe Illustrator. I can also making technical and spec drawings. I can make both flat and draped garments. I can fill fabrics, colours, embroidery, textile and any other kind of required details in them on Adobe Photoshop. I can do editing of pictures and backgrounds. I can use a bit of Corel Draw too. I made my fashion portfolio using these softwares too which took me to the UK to do an MA and work alongside.
