I'm Suranya, a 30 year old content writer on philosophy, mindfulness and holistic wellness, residing in New Delhi. Besides my profession, my passion for travel and zest for engaging with people of varied backgrounds, educating myself on their culture and learning much from these experiences has helped me immensely in broadening my mental horizons.

Amongst these experiences was my choice to learn the Korean language to enable me to travel the country extensively and immerse myself in their culture and heritage. I have studied the language till the intermediate level from the Korean Cultural Centre (affiliated with the Embassy) in New Delhi and have been awarded a scholarship for the same. Thereafter, I was able to brush up my skills further by travelling to South Korea in 2023. By having daily conversations with the locals, living in the capital city of Seoul for 2 months and then travelling to 4 more cities around the country solo- I was able to develop a lot more confidence in both my spoken Korean and my knowledge on the way of life there. Now that I' back, I plan on helping others interested in partaking in the same experience. Whether it be learning the language out of curiosity or with the goal of travelling or work in mind, I'd be glad to help in sharing my own personal learnings and experiences. During my time in Korea I was enrolled for 2 months in language school and due to my location being in the heart of the city, I was able to engage in a lot of language exchange events and opportunities. With these experiences under my belt, I hope to help teach the language as organically as possible. Thank you and I look forward to working with you :)
