Yes, there is always a way. You just need to play one chord and play four strokes DDDD then count next four strokes between changing the chord with perfect adjustment. (don't play four strokes count while shifting the chord). Doing the same method decrees your count like play four strokes/ 1st chord/4 count/shift chord/ then play 2nd chord/ then play four strokes/1st chord/3 count(in-between shift chord )/then two counts, then one count.
