"Might be of great interest to people who want to learn Piano!! Meet Serene Yoneko Philip, an amazing Pianist, with an awesome voice (you will get to hear during the piano class and you might just often get lost), very sensitive, reciprocal to the smallest of gestures, she teaches like a friend but a thorough professional at the same time. If you are a slow learner, still nothing to worry, she teaches with utmost patience without making you feel that (at least I can guarantee of that being someone so closed and difficult). What makes her amazing is she has a calling for teaching piano and very passionate about music. Vocal Music

I never had any singing experience and I was very conscious of my vocal abilities but having been trained under Serene for about a year and a half, made me feel very comfortable and positive about my singing. Vocal Music

"Serene was my Son's first western classical music teacher, and she has been a constant inspiration for him ever since. She is very approachable and has a deep understanding of teaching process as well as what motivates different individuals. She encouraged my son to participate in various performances that really boosted his confidence in himself. We would have never realised our son's potential in singing had it not been for Serene and her gentle mentoring. Now my younger daughter has also started learning from her, and even though I was apprehensive about her starting at a young age of 5, Serene has perfect understanding of the psyche of kids and she got her attention in no time. She is teaching both my kids now, and it is a pleasure to see how she handles both of them differently, bringing out the best in each, in her own gentle way. I would say Serene is God-sent for my kids, and I could have never found a better vocal trainer for my kids other than her. Now, we do not stay in Delhi any more, and I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to continue my kids' music education elsewhere, but Serene was very generous and agreed to teach them over Skype. I couldn't have been more thankful as a parent for her kindness and generosity. So even though we are right now in the middle of Himalayas with no Music Schools nearby, my kids are still continuing their musical journey with Serene, and I cannot thank and appreciate her enough for doing this for us. "

Piano

"Its been my good luck to find and choose serene classes to learn piano. Serene ma'am is so professional and an amazing teacher. Her teaching tactics are so systematic and methodical and most importantly her soft voice with motivational wording makes me to learn piano with dedication. She also taught me some useful exercises helps in enhancing fingers flexibility to ease playing piano. She is so good that she undoubtedly can teach piano to anybody as from 3 to 5 years kids unto older people. "

"I had a wonderful time with her last eight years. She helped me and trained me to do my 5th grade vocal exam conducted by trinity college of music London. I'm happy to say this that i passed my 5th grade vocal exam with merit on november 2015. She made technical corrections which has helped me to move beyond 5th grade. Her way of teaching impressed me in singing. As a result of her teaching, now I enrolled myself in 7th grade vocal exam. "
