Since childhood, I have shown an inclination towards fostering leadership. My journey in education is rather a short period of me switching between the roles of a student and a teacher. In my teenage years, I volunteered as a scribe to teach children with disabilities. Spending time with those kids granted me significant experience in understanding and creating modules for children with special abilities and how to strengthen their capabilities and attention. I firmly believe that learning has no restrictions and as a teacher, I have cherished the opportunity of enriching the same. Seeing a smile on my students’ faces has driven me to pursue a career in teaching.

Once I entered college, I enrolled in my college’s educational program. I spent 70+ hours teaching all elementary school subjects to underprivileged children and English to college girls and women. My students have shown a significant growth in confidence and some have even requested a change in their medium of instruction from Hindi to English. Incorporating role-plays, verbal exchanges, and minute changes in curriculum can foster efficient learning in a fast yet self-paced manner.
