CCNA (ROUTING &SWITCHING):- CCNA (R&S) is the basic building block of computer networking. While doing CCNA (R&S) I came across lots of basic things like Internetworking, the basics of OSI model, Than the introduction to TCP/IP, subnetting, VLSMs which tell us how we can prevent the wastages of IP address V.4. I have a keen interest in IP routing which include OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, Static routing, default routing, as well as in Layer 2 switching and most interesting the security portion that how to set up ACL, Port security, setting passwords and lots more..
CCNP (SWITCHING):- CCNP (SWITCHING) came with layer 2 and layer 3 switching and how the basic switch operate, the different catalyst of switches and how they work in different layer of CISCO hierarchical model i.e. Core Layer, Access Layer, Distribution Layer, than the operation of VLANs, Internal VLAN'S, Private VLAN'S and Trunks. I have a brief knowledge about STP, Protection of STP, CST,PVST,RSTP,MST, Ether channel, SVI,HSRP, MHSRP, GLBP, VRRP, Switch Security, SPAN, VLAN Access Map
CCNP (ROUTING):- CCNP (ROUTING) came with almost the same topics which I study in CCNA the only difference is detailing, I learned about how different Routing Protocols like RIP,EIGRP,OSPF & BGP works, Moreover I learned about Header's and their Fields(ARP, ICMP, IPV4, TCP/UDP, Ethernet)
