IdentityI am an Artist, I have been painting professionally for the past 11 years. My art became a window through which the anonymity of my deepest emotions within passed, mingled and became one on canvas. The many unpleasant circumstances during my existence lead to my conduit of being an artist.
My primary mediums are acrylic on canvas or paper. It often includes textural additions as well geometric or figurative forms emerging from intuitive, emotional color. It is a relentless exploration for the best way to decode the thoughts that I have about the world and myself. I do not limit myself to one medium, style or concept, since inspiration and ideas change constantly. Each piece I create is a dichotomy from my past.
I love working with kids, I have tutored unprivileged kids for a year. I have worked as a writer and an editor for publication houses and bloggers. I am in the midst of writing a book and I work for an Art Gallery. I have displayed my works in a couple of group exhibitions as have few of the children i worked with. I'm a self-taught artist, I love working on my art work and experiencing new forms and forwarding them onto the younger keen generation. I design logos, posters, brochures and pamphlets as I love the use photoshop which again is self taught.
