I have extensive experience of more than 13 Years of teaching maths as well as executing various projects in the field of Development Sector. I have worked for State Governments including Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.
While discharging my responsibilities at Ministry of Home Affairs as Deputy Director for the project “Strengthening of Fire and Emergency Services in the India”, I develop TOR for the gap analysis in the Fire Services of India. Through international bidding we selected a consultant firm who did this analysis. We also did a training need analysis of Fire services and develop a pool of trainer of 40 people send them the institute Morten in Marsh, Londan for training. There after these trained trainer train 3000 fireman across the India. The whole project was monitored and evaluated by the undersigned on the basis of benchmark developed in the TOR.
Since, I have worked for international organization and travelled across the globe, I understand the values of an international organization. It’s worth mentioning that, I have experience of working with UNDP also, providing consultancy on formation/execution different Disaster Management project by UNDP along with States and central Government of India.
Currently working for SAARC Disaster Management Center (SDMC) and handling the task to implement Rapid Response on Natural Disaster (SARRND) in the SAARC Region. In this process i have developed Manual for South Asia Disaster Management Exercise (SDAMEx), Training Manual for SADMEx, and Standard Operating Procedures. While coordinating with SAARC Member States I developed very good working relations with head-of-office of Disaster management of SAARC Members State. SAARC is a regional intergovernmental organization where in Afghanistan, Bangladesh,India, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Srilanka are the stakeholders. And still i am teaching maths. because i love this subject.
