My journey with UGC NET Political Science began during my Master’s program at Jamia Millia Islamia, where I developed a deep interest in the subject. My preparation was further enhanced by studying under Shubhra Ranjan’s PSIR course, which provided me with valuable insights and guidance. I dedicated approximately one year to preparing for the exam and realized the importance of conceptual understanding, which naturally aids in retaining facts. As a teacher, this has become my top priority—to ensure that students grasp concepts thoroughly rather than relying solely on rote memorization. I successfully cleared UGC NET for the first time in June 2022, again in December 2022, and finally achieved JRF NET in June 2023. Having cleared these exams recently, I bring a relevant and up-to-date understanding of the paper's structure, trends, and strategies that work effectively. My teaching approach emphasizes creating concise notes, staying updated on current affairs, and incorporating regular mock tests to help students refine their preparation. With my personal experience of clearing the exams I aim to equip students with the tools and strategies necessary to excel in UGC NET in Political Science.
