We specialise in the following guitar styles - Fingerstyle guitar, Classical guitar, Percussion Style Guitar, Flamenco guitar, Clawhammer style guitar, Jazz & Blues style guitar, Rock n Roll style guitar.

Musiconica's teachers have a minimum experience of 8 years and maximum experience of 49 years.

Our roster of teachers include senior musicians who have played Internationally and also for Bollywood and have the necessary knowledge as well as experience to ensure your musical journey kickstarts effortlessly.

In addition to Hobby oriented classes, we also provide classes for certified courses as well as preparatory classes for entrance exams for music schools like Trinity College London, Boston School of Music, Royal Academy of Music London.

Is it bad to learn guitar on a 'mini' guitar?

The size of the guitar should be according to your body size and one that is comfortable to hold. There is no set rule. It has to feel comfortable holding the guitar. These are some broad guidelines - 1. Guitar sizes are noted as 1/4(ages 3-5), 2/4(ages 5-8), 3/4(ages 8-12), 4/4(above 12). 2. A... ...more

The size of the guitar should be according to your body size and one that is comfortable to hold. There is no set rule. It has to feel comfortable holding the guitar.

These are some broad guidelines - 

1. Guitar sizes are noted as 1/4(ages 3-5), 2/4(ages 5-8), 3/4(ages 8-12), 4/4(above 12). 

2. A mini guitar would be either 1/4 or 1/2.

3. Make sure it is a miniature sized real guitar and not a toy guitar.

4. If you are wanting an instrument to accompany your singing, you can also consider learning the ukulele instead.
