IdentityI have been passionately involved in the field of Kathak for the past 15 years. With a Master’s degree in Kathak and formal training from the esteemed Prayag Sangeet Samiti, I come from a traditional family of dancers, which has deeply influenced my approach to this classical dance form. My experience is enriched by running my own Kathak institute, where I focus on nurturing and developing talent in this exquisite art form.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing on various national and international stages. These performances have not only enhanced my skills but also provided me with valuable insights into the global dance arena. My background includes extensive stage experience, and I have been involved in numerous performances, which have helped me hone my craft and share my love for Kathak with a wider audience.
In my institute, I offer both online and offline classes, tailoring the duration and content based on the students' needs. Typically, classes last for about one hour, but this can be extended if necessary to cover more complex aspects of Kathak. My teaching approach includes a blend of theory and practical sessions, with a structured lesson plan designed to cater to different skill levels.
Many of my students have gone on to become successful performers themselves, which is a testament to the comprehensive training they receive. I use a combination of live sessions and instructional videos to enhance the learning experience, ensuring that each student gains a deep understanding of Kathak.
