IdentityI have worked in an educational setting with children for more than five years. I was working with children and imparting the love of Guitar. Rock music is something that I enjoy doing and something that also comes naturally to me. I have worked in educational settings, and a school environment is a place I relish working in. I see at first hand how music and especially rock music engages children and works as a gateway towards other music disciplines.
Also from close cooperation with classroom teachers and all members of the school community I see how rock music can inspire children and give children great confidence by preparing them to perform in school concerts and performances. This can lead to greater academic achievement but more importantly, encourages children to see development in other areas thus improving the child as a person and not just a school learner. I firmly believe that music is for everyone and I believe that I can teach any student who shows enthusiasm and interest in learning.
