A law degree from DU i.e. LLB is worth doing compared to other law institutions. First and foremost reason is the fee. You get to only pay Rs. 8000 of fee per year for three years. Second reason is you get a lot of scope here and an environment of judiciary and upsc aspirants. Third and the most important reason is law firms and advocates will always prefer a law student from DU as their asssociate or intern.

The digfference between two degrees is the value and time taken to complete your LLB degree. A 5 year LLB degree is an integrated degree which usually is studied with either B.com as B.com LLB or with B.A. as BA LLB. Both B.com LLB and BA LLB are 5 year courses provided in India and saves your one year of study duration. Whereas, if you feel like you want to pursue a law degree after your graduation then you can go for a 3 year law degree. Apart from that, most big law firms give preference to a 5 year law student more as he/she has studied the course for 5 years compared to a 3 year one.
