During my studies in Mathematics Honours, I often helped my friends understand difficult mathematical concepts. Whenever they struggled with topics like calculus, linear algebra, or probability, I would explain them more simply, breaking down complex ideas into easy steps. I enjoyed finding real-life examples to make abstract topics more relatable, which helped them grasp the concepts more clearly. Many times, I created step-by-step notes and solved problems with them, ensuring they understood the logic behind each solution rather than just memorizing formulas. Through these sessions, I not only improved their understanding but also strengthened my knowledge. Teaching my friends made me realize how much I enjoy simplifying concepts and adapting my explanations based on the learner’s needs. This experience has given me confidence in my ability to teach, and now I want to extend my guidance to more students who need help in mathematics.
