IdentityI have been immersed in the world of chess since 1992. Over the years, I have honed my skills as a player and dedicated myself to teaching and coaching this beautiful game. Presently, I hold the esteemed position of a chess coach at Saint Francis School. In 1992, I participated in the Punjab State chess championship, where I proudly secured the runner-up position. This early success fueled my passion for the game and motivated me to strive for excellence. In 2022, I participated in a tournament in Udaipur, where my determination paid off, and I emerged as the victorious champion.
As much as I enjoy playing chess, my true calling lies in passing on my knowledge and expertise to aspiring chess players. I have nurtured many talented individuals who have become national runners-up and champions in the Delhi chess championship. My dedication and hard work have been recognised and validated by the All India Chess Federation, certifying me as a qualified and skilled trainer.
In the ever-evolving digital era, I have adapted my coaching methods to the online platform, offering practical sessions and notes to my students. I established the Dolphin Chess Academy, an esteemed chess coaching centre associated with the Delhi Chess Association, to expand my reach further and provide a formal structure to my coaching endeavours. Through this academy, I aim to nurture the next generation of chess prodigies and promote the game at a broader level.
Chess is not just a game for me but a way of life. The intellectual challenges it presents, and the strategic thinking it demands have shaped my character and personality over the years. As a coach and player, I aim to inspire and instil the same passion for chess in others, helping them unlock their potential and excel in both the game and life.
