Gatha Patankar Basu

I have been teaching French for the past 6 years. I completed my graduation in English Literature from Bombay university and went on to study journalism and mass communication at the Garware Institute, Bombay. I worked as a journalist for Health and Nutrition (Magna publications ), The Indian Express and also did a stint at Network Computing before shifting to New Delhi. After a brief sabbatical, I enrolled at L’Alliance Française de Delhi and studied French for four years. I started giving tuitions for English and French for school children. During the pandemic I transitioned to online teaching. Today I take online, offline as well as hybrid (mix of offline and online) classes. I love languages and am passionate about teaching and passing on the love for languages and learning to my students. My approach and method of teaching differs from student to student and is tailored to a child’s ability and pace of learning. I give my 100% to teaching and expect my students to be sincere and diligent..
