Eugene Salema

I have over twenty years of experience in teaching and performing music, within India and overseas. This stemmed from my growing up in a school environment, that encouraged and provided me the facility to further my music skills in the school choir and band by participating in most activities from plays to performances. I teach students to play the guitar - acoustic/electric - lead, bass and rhythm and to sing along with their instrument and in sync with accompanying instruments. Guitar classes comprise of various categories (practical & theory) with emphasis on ear training. Songs range for all occasions, from religious, patriotic, nursery rhymes, Bollywood, western, etc. I've also introduced Ukulele to students, which has become very popular given it’s size and performance. It’s a catchy instrument for young children and has also entered NCERT and accepted for many of it’s music recordings. I've also been recording and voicing for NCERT, Macmillan Publishers and Quixote for their English educational projects (music). I have vast experience in professional audio studio recording and the musical half of specialized HT PACE workshops in various schools. I participated in the World Animation Music Festival - where we received the best film animation award. I’ve also been a part of various workshops that range from anger to stress, which assisted me in helping students, in their overall growth and performance, at home and in school. I am known for my team playing; inter personal, student relationship and man management skill.
