Arindam Mukhopadhyay

Had keen interest in music from childhood but started learning Hindustani Classical Vocal Music formally from the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi and later; groomed under the tutelage of his guru Padmashree Pt. Madhup Mudgal. He has been awarded ‘Doctorate of Philosophy’ in music and ‘Sangeet Shiromani' from The Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi. Also been awarded 'Sangeet Visharad' from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. As part of the faculty of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi; he started teaching music since 2001 and done several successful Workshops on Music with the students of different schools & colleges in Delhi.
Had been appointed as a Hindustani Classical Vocal Teacher / Performer in Indian Cultural Center at Johannesburg, South Africa by ICCR, New Delhi. He is an active member of renowned Gandharva Choir conducted by his Guru Pt. Madhup Mudgal. Traveled abroad several times with his Guru and also to perform solo; countries like Germany, China, Spain, Poland, Nepal etc. He has performed in several music festivals in India and South Africa.
Regular classes conducts at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya from Elementary Lavel to Visharad Poorna Lavel students.
