Fieldwork and hands-on data collection are at the heart of my research approach. I've conducted extensive field studies, including annotating bird recordings from both forest and urban habitats, identifying species visually and aurally. My experiences span various projects, from documenting Indian peafowl behavior to classifying sounds in diverse environments.

I am also an active birder with an eBird profile, and my love for the natural world extends beyond avian studies. I am enthusiastic about exploring other taxa such as lepidopterans, amphibians, and ants.

Beyond my academic and field endeavors, I am a creative individual who enjoys writing poems and songs. I have a collection of poems called "Alfaaz" and am working on a new collection. I am also an outdoor enthusiast who loves jogging, running, and exercising.

I am currently seeking opportunities to blend my research skills with public engagement, aiming to inspire others about the wonders of the natural world. Whether through creating educational material, training educators, or engaging with communities, I strive to make a meaningful impact on both science and society.
