There was a lot to learn from students, as I learned how to teach when I taught them. Each student was different and I had to adopt my own method of teaching as school curriculum was monotonous. Information in textbooks was only a part of learning and not knowledge. To get the students keen to learn, interactive engagement was emphasised upon so that even a back bencher would want to be eagerly a part of it. Even today, students come back to thank for mentoring them and I believe there is no better reward for a teacher other than that.
