Overview

I have been learning tabla for over 10 years now, under Shri Binod Panda, and Shri Snehasish Pattnaik, some of the finest tabla players of Odisha, and today am learning under Shri Pranshu Chatur Lal in Delhi.

As a student, I am pursuing Philosophy in Hindu College, University of Delhi, and am an active volunteer withSPIC MACAY, the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth.

I have given numerous solo and group performances as well as participated and won competitions.

I believe I have the ability to interact well, and also to create a semi-formal environment to facilitate better teaching. Any of my friends who have tried to pick up some basic of the tabla have always responded positively to the experience. I look forward to teaching all that I can to whoever is interested.

You can sing a typical Bollywood song decently enough with a month's hard work- regular practice every day for an hour should get you there. T learn classical music though you must give yourself much much more time.
