Akshay Mathews is an Indian singer-songwriter, musician and sound engineer who makes independent music.

Akshay grew up in the city of delhi before moving to the United States for an internship with Anderson Group Industries as a live mix engineer.

After completing his training at Audinate, he returned to India as Dante Certified Engineer, releasing his debut album with his band Magnifiers, followed by 5 singles from the highly anticipated second full length studio album that will be released this year.

Mathews learnt to play the guitar at age of 12 and started songwriting in his early teens. He finished his high school from St. Xavier's Sr. Sec. School, Delhi.
Later, he set up Magnifiers Studios, Delhi to pursue a full-time career in music.
