So , borax is how to obtained.
When high temperature conc. HCL is added to borax (Na2B4O7.10H2O) soluble H3BO3 Which is reduced.
Na2B4O7(anhydrous) +2HCL(hot) - 2NaCl + H2B4O7
H2B4O7+5H2O - 4H3BO3
2H3BO3 - B2O3+ 3H2O(stonglst heated)
B2O3+6K- 2B+3K2O
In other way we can consider Mg,Na .so,
B2O3+6Na - 2B+3NaO
Same same Mg then 2B and 3MgO formed.
