I was born in England, and now I am living in Dehradun. I’m a sports athlete, and I am also a qualified sports coach with seven years of experience working with children. I have also been a National Ambassador for England, where only 10 ambassadors were selected throughout England to be part of this unique programme run by the FA (Football Association). In addition, due to my love, passion, commitment, and dedication for sports, I had completed 7,000 volunteer hours coaching children, and as a result, I had been selected as an Olympic torchbearer during the London 2012 Olympic Games. For me, sports isn’t just a game; my passion for coaching has been oriented around inspiring young children into sport, especially in the South Asian culture where it is deemed a sin for a girl to partake. Being an Indian woman, I have faced these cultural issues and stereotypes with my own parents; therefore, I know the fight they have to put up with in order to play. For me, sports have changed my life and given me so much self-confidence and opportunity to grow, so now it’s my chance to change lives here in India itself.

• Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer (CYQ)
• Qualified Higher Level Teaching assistant (Level 3)
• Vice Chairman of BCS Student Council
• Sports Ambassador for Loughborough College (2009-2010)
• National Ambassador for British Colleges Sport 2009-2013- (5 years running
Assistant organiser at the National championships held every year)
• Travelled to Jaipur in India with BCS to do coaching (in 2010) and mentored the young apprentice group on my second visit in 2011
