Rahul S. Markande

I was born in the family of classical musicians of GWALIOR GHARANA (school) of Hindustani classical music. My music training began at the age of 2 by my grand father(nana ji) Pt. TaraChand Kaushik. At present I am learning music under the guidance of my mother Smt. Nisha Markande (founder and guru- Markande Sangeet Vidyalaya). I have also been fortunate to be the disciple of Pt. Laxman Krishnarao Pandit son of Krishnarao Shankar Pandit GWALIOR GHARANA.

B.A.- Percentage in concerned subject i.e.
VOCAL= 93% ( COLLEGE TOPPER)

At present I am pursuing M. A. Vocal.

Skills:-
I have the knowledge of tuning musical instruments and can also play Tabla, Sitar Keyboard, Harmonium, Flute, Violin, Guitar, Xylophone, Tanpura, etc.

I love to write poems and compose music.

EXPERIENCE :-
I have performed in many musical programs and have also conducted several musical programs. I have been giving music classes from past 11 years at Markande Sangeet Vidyalaya and have trained students for Diploma courses upto M. A. and have also accompanied them on tabla and
harmonium in practical exams. My trained students are music teachers in various reputed schools. I have also Judged various singing, music competitions.
Presently I am working as a Music Teacher at Graphic Era Global School since 28th March 2019 and giving excellent music online classes with ease on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp.

I'm also a Music Instructor (Keyboard) at LBSNAA Mussoorie.
