The format of the class:
Gentle Yoga is for the elderly and geriatric segment. Gentle yoga-like Surya Namaskar will be demonstrated with the support of chairs. There are two variables, namely sitting on the chair and doing the poses, as well as taking the chair as a prop and doing the poses.
These poses that are chair assisted will be taught. Benefits are immense as the participants start to engage themselves meaningfully in breathing exercises and meditation.
Furthermore, they will feel better with the increase in circulation, oxygenation and clarity of mind due to the healing process of the relaxation techniques.
