Sometimes we come accross complex problems. There can be two reasons behind the complexity of the given problem
1. Problem is actually complex Or
2. Our state of mind is not allowing us to concentrate
Let's talk the second point first: Our state of mind is not allowing us to concentrate
- Sometimes we want do something else but we are forced to complete our studies (exp: Exam time/periodic test etc.). Do not force your mind, when some other thoughts are running in our mind, we do not able to concentrate and at that moment even simple thing looks complex. At that state of mind you will not be able to solve that problem. Rather take a break from study for 15-20 minutes, do what you actually wanted to do (like to eat something, to play, to watch tv). Relax youself without thinking about that problem. after 15-20 minutes of your rest you read the same question once again with relaxed mood. you may realize this is a simple problem, and I am sure you will never forget this problem, because you struggled hard and then it suddenly become a silly simple question. its just a change in your state of mind.
Now let's talk about the first point: Problem is actually complex
- you need to calm your mind take a deep breath, tell yourself loudly I CAN DO IT. read the problem slowly and your mind will start telling you that hey! there is another way to look at this problem and that must be the easiest way to find the solution. For this you really need to be conceptual. you must be clear with your concept. The concept clarity will not only help you in solving complex problems in less time but will start preparing you for competitions.
