Matter And Its Types

Now, What is matter? Its the first question that comes in our mind and plays football in it. Well "Anything that occupies space and have mass is called Matter". For eg:- A human is a matter, water is a matter, gas is a matter. Matter is characterised into three types:- (1) Solid (2) Liquid (3) Gas.

Comparative Study Of Solid, Liquid And Gas:

SOLID LIQUID GAS
They have definite shape. They acquire the shape of the contaoiner in which they are stored. They uniformly acquire the whole container in which they are stored
Intermolecular forces are very strong. Intermolecular forces are weaker than solids but stronger than gas. Intermolecular forces are weakest.
Intermolecular space is very less.  intermolecular space is larger than solids  intermoleculer spaces are larger
