Displacement (x)

Can define as the shortest geometric distance between two points in space-time.

Consider two point A (x1, y1) and B (x2,y2)

A Distance between the two points can calculate by an application of a distance formula.

AB = { (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2}^0.5

Displacement is a vector quantity which includes directions of the implementation. The magnitude of movement is written as x=|AB| and vectors x has direction denotes by a unit vector of x = AB ÷ |AB|. The Displacement of circular motion is zero whereas a distance is a scalar quantity it's never zero for motion, but conditions for rest is changed in distance is zero.

Velocity of body  = displacement/ time interval

Since displacement is a vector quantity, it makes velocity is a vector quantity. Speed is the difference with velocity is direction senses only.

Displacement is important to vector quantity in an analysis of motions, sometimes it's treated as position vector its connection between geometry and nature.

Why There Is A Bigger Hole (Compare To Other Two) In A Electric Socket?
Point 1: For case for ground pin. Also ground pin is larger that other two pins so that it would be the first to go into the hole and the last to come out of the hole just for sake of safety Point 2:...

Scalar and vector quantities
Scalar quantity: Those quantities which have the only magnitude but no direction are called scalar quantities. For instance mass, time, length, distance. Vector quantity: Those quantities which have both,...

Importance of Bouncing in Collisions
There are 3 Types of Collisions Elastic, Inelastic and Totally Inelastic collision. Momentum is conserved in all these three types ( No external force is involved, so the system is called a Closed System....

why 200 volt AC is more dangerous than 220 volt DC???
current or voltage we measure for AC are alaways rms(root mean square) value not the actual magnitude so 220 volt ac(rms)= 220*sqrt(2)=311 volt but 220 volt DC alaways gives the magnitude...
