time will be 6sec.. because from f=ma we find acceleration .Which is retarded means (-). Then put according to question.in ist equation of motion. V=0. And u given we know acceleration (a) then find.time.. very easily...

change the world with your mind

retardation = - 50/20 = - 2.5 m/s u= 15 m/s, v = 0 m/s v = u - at 0 = 15 - 2.5 ( t ) t = 15 / 2.5 t = 6 sec.

force exerts deceleration in body which can be find by F=ma 52=20xa a=2.5ms-2 the deceleration is 2.5ms-2 to find time taken to stop the mass, we can use newton equation of motion v=u+at 0=15-2.2t t=15/2.5 t=6s. therefore it would take 6 seconds to stop the mass

force exerts deceleration in body which can be find by

F=ma

52=20xa

a=2.5ms-2

the deceleration is 2.5ms-2

to find time taken to stop the mass, we can use newton equation of motion v=u+at

0=15-2.2t

t=15/2.5

t=6s.

therefore it would take 6 seconds to stop the mass
